This virtual workshop will bring together PIs of newly funded CISE REU Site projects and connect them with experienced PIs within the CISE REU Site community. Experienced PIs will share lessons learned on providing an effective research experience for undergraduate students, provide practical tips on the sometimes challenging logistics associated with organizing REU Site programs, and share best practices and resources for broadening participation in computing through REU programs.  Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with NSF program officers,  connect with a community of PIs in interactive sessions, learn more about approaches and resources for evaluating the impact of their REU Site program, and gain just-in-time insights for preparing a successful Summer 2022 REU Site program.
