2022 NSF CISE REU New PI Workshop
NSF CISE REU Site New PI Virtual Workshop
April 27, 2022
12:00 - 2:30 pm (ET)
Register by April 22
This virtual workshop will bring together PIs of newly funded CISE REU Site projects and connect them with experienced PIs within the CISE REU Site community. Experienced PIs will share lessons learned on providing an effective research experience for undergraduate students, provide practical tips on the sometimes challenging logistics associated with organizing REU Site programs, and share best practices and resources for broadening participation in computing through REU programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with NSF program officers, connect with a community of PIs in interactive sessions, learn more about approaches and resources for evaluating the impact of their REU Site program, and gain just-in-time insights for preparing a successful Summer 2022 REU Site program.
Registration is open!
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 27 at 12:00-2:30 pm ET. All PIs of new CISE REU Site Awards should complete the REU Site New PI Workshop Registration Form by April 22, 2022 to attend. After you register, we’ll send you a calendar invitation with a Zoom link for the meeting. All PIs of newly funded REU Site awards are strongly encouraged to participate in this meeting, and other REU Site personnel are welcome to attend as well.
